Groundswell Wairarapa are cancelling their protest to avoid being hijacked by antivaxxers. 

The ‘Mother of all Protests’ was scheduled for this Sunday. 

Host of the Country Jamie MacKay told Heather du Plessis-Allan says the protests are still happening around the rest of the country, just not in Wairarapa. 

“I think there might be general concern that this has now grown bigger than a farmer protest...this has now turned into an anti-government protest.” 

He said Groundswell have good intentions and have done a lot to ensure that people behave well at the protests.
