Motorists are being reminded not to blame service station staff for high petrol prices.
Unleaded 95 has topped three dollars a litre in parts of the country – with predictions 91 will follow.
The Motor Trade Association says it's had reports of customers verbally abusing workers.
Spokesperson Ian Baggott told Heather du Plessis-Allan the rage is misplaced.
“Consumers want to direct their anger at somebody then, you know, tax is a major component of petrol.”
