Renewed calls for Yellow books to stop being distributed to New Zealand households.Â
People can opt out to receiving the business and residential directory books - but only 7 per cent of the country has.Â
Geoff Neal is calling for it to be an opt-in service instead after 50 were dropped off at his apartment building.Â
He told Heather du Plessis-Allan the opt-out doesn't work because it takes time and effort.Â
"And even when you do, like I've done twice now, Yellow Pages don't listen and they still dump these on you."
Yellow says the books still have a role, with 7.2 million lookups per month. Â
