The price of building has risen significantly and apparently there is no end in sight. 

A survey from industry leader, EBoss, found suppliers increased prices by 16% in the past 3 months and are looking to further rises of 12% in the new year. 

EBoss managing director, Matthew Duder, told Heather du Plessis-Allan the most remarkable price increases are on structural products; steel, structural timber, and concrete.  

“The most difficult thing at the moment is really having any price certainty for a job 3-, 6- or 12-months' time, which often builders have to do.”
