The NRL has conceded Bulldogs league captain Stephen Crichton should have been sent off for his high shot on Warriors centre Roger Tuivasa-Sheck during their round 25 contest.

Crichton was only put on report for the tackle and will miss one game.

Tuivasa-Sheck is out for the season after failing his head injury assessment.
