New Labour MP for Tukituki Anna Lorck took to Parliament to celebrate supplements - and people aren't quite sure what to make of her views.
Last night, Parliament was debating the Food (Continuation of Dietary Supplements Regulations) Amendment Bill, which will extend the expiry date of the Dietary Supplements Regulations 1985 by 5 years, from 1 March 2021 to 1 March 2026.Â
The fairly low-key bill has gone viral though, after Lorck made an impassioned debate that has raised eyebrows.Â
"It's the Beroccas in the morning and the magnesium at night - and don't forget about the collagen. How's the hair looking ladies.
"Labour - another five years, well I'll give you six or seven or nine years to keep us going on this side of the house."Â
