A statement is set to be released following the historic meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Wall Street Journal reporter Andrew Jeong is at the summit.

He told Heather Du Plessis Allan the statement will set out plans for the future.

"It will contain agreements on when to meet again on to throw away Mr Kim Jong Un's nuclear weapons."

Jeong says Kim Jong Un gave no indication at the meeting he would give up his nuclear weapons.
