It's not just facial recognition data that CCTV cameras could be collecting in the future.

New technologies are being introduced to retailers to help them get more information about the people shopping in their stores.

Sektor Security General Manager of security and payments Andre Van Duiven told Larry Williams sensors are able to count the numbers of people arriving into a store and more personal information about them.

"They will give you the sex and age of the people as the walk in the door so it's great for targeting promotions within the store."
