One of our top cops is calling for adults to take responsibility for their driving - when it comes to our road toll.
Already this year 107 people have been killed in road incidents - 13 more than this time last year.
Superintendent Steve Greally says drivers who use cell phones in the car, or drive tired or under the influence, are a major concern.
While he wouldn't comment on speed limits, Superintendent Greally told Heather du Plessis-Allan drivers need to slow down.
"It's about being accountable for the decisions people make and no one else can help them with that, as police we cannot be in the car with you when you decide to hit the accelerator."
