Are the voices of Asian New Zealanders being well-represented in our traditional media?
Less than a third of Asian New Zealanders watch free-to-air television, according to New Zealand On Air's latest audience research survey.
More than half the population uses YouTube for either video or music streaming, while TVNZ 1, which has been the most popular channel, site or station since 2014, is used by 44 percent of people on any given day.
Simon Draper is the executive director of the Asia New Zealand foundation. He joined Kate Hawkesby to talk about the results.
