There is concern that young people won't be able to find work, in the wake of COVID-19.
The coronavirus has seen the number of under-30s seeking unemployment support rise from about 4 percent - to 6.5, between February and April.
Youth Employability Director Shirley Johnson told Kate Hawkesby parents need to keep their kids positive.
"It’s very easy for them to start feeling disillusioned and wondering what it’s all about, mental health issues among young people have started to go up."
Johnson says the next 12 months will be a challenge for our young people.
