Many eyes will be on the glitz and glamour of the Oscars today - but just as many will be waiting to see how the Academy Awards handle the 'Me too movement'.

Actresses wore black at the recent Golden Globes and Baftas, as a show of solidarity.

1News correspondent Rebecca Wright is on the red carpet and told Kate Hawkesby the slew of allegations has given Hollywood a shake-up.

"Jimmy Kimmel said he with broach the issue during the show but will have to walk a fine line. What is not clear yet is whether or not there will be a blackout on the red carpet as a sign of solidarity."

The ceremony starts at 2pm.
