Thousands of people who visited locations of interest will need to get tested for Covid-19 over the coming days. 

Otago University Professor of Biochemistry Kurt Krause told Kate Hawkesby it's crucial that people get tested, as soon as they can. 

"It's so important not to let this wait, because the Delta variant is much more rapidly transmissible, and if we wait too long then we could get behind."
