There has been a record surge in confirmed cases of coronavirus across Australia with the nationwide total reaching more than 360 people.
NSW recorded its highest ever daily increase as 37 people were diagnosed - bringing statewide cases to 171.
There were 14 new cases confirmed in Victoria, taking the state's total to 71.
Western Australia recorded 10 new cases of the virus, now with 28. Queensland confirmed seven new cases on Monday while South Australia record another two.
Five people have now died from COVID-19 in Australia.
States of emergency have been declared in Victoria and the ACT.
