There has been condemnation in the UK of a woman who worked for more than two decades with a fake medical degree from New Zealand.
Zholia Alemi has been jailed for seven years after having been found to have faked her Auckland University qualification and letter of verification.
She's also been jailed for five years, for attempting to forge the will of a widower with assets of more than one million pounds.
Cumbria Police Detective Superintendent Matt Scott told ITV that Alemi held roles at National Health Service trusts around the UK, over a 22-year period.
The court heard Alemi had started studying to be a doctor in New Zealand in the early 1990s, but never completed the course.
