A new study has confirmed women are better drivers than men, but are too modest to admit it.
Research has found men take risks, cut corners and are more likely to text while driving
Women are more courteous, use mirrors and take more care.
Women also performed better during tests undertaken around the busiest roads in Britain.
A survey of driver attitudes taken in conjunction also showed that women are less likely to feel confident about calling themselves better drives.
Only one in three women surveyed thought that women were generally better drivers, compared to a whopping 87% of men who didn't think women were better drivers.Â
