Solomon Islands hit by 6.7 magnitude earthquake

A 6.7 magnitude quake has struck near the Solomon Islands.

It was recorded 52 kilometres north-west of Kirakira, at a depth of 52 kilometres, at 730 Monday morning.

There's no tsunami threat.
