A New Zealander held in an Indonesian jail for drug smuggling has been caught up in a deadly riot.
Antony de Malmanche smuggled 1.7 kilograms of methamphetamine into the country and was jailed to Bali's Kerobokan Prison in June this year.
Indonesian authorities said the jail has been locked down after two groups of prisoners clashed around 3pm yesterday. At least three people are believed to be dead.
Family spokesman James Bellamy says a prison source has confirmed de Malmanche is fine, and is in lockdown.
