A New Zealand-born woman who died recently in Wales is suspected of killing her husband, wrapping him in plastic and leaving him in the garden for 18 years.
Only now has the man's skeleton been uncovered.
The bizarre crime came to light after Leigh Ann Sabine, who was known to some as "mad Leigh", died from cancer on October 30.
The 74-year-old has been named by detectives as the main suspect in the death of her husband, John Sabine, who would now have been 85.
British media report he was last seen in 1997.
It's believed the couple moved to Beddau, a quiet village near Pontypridd, in February that year.
Three weeks after his wife's death, Mr Sabine's body was found by neighbours in the garden of the block of flats where they lived. T
DNA analysis confirmed Mr Sabine's identity and his injuries were consistent with assault.
