One of the most controversial figures in sport has backed Sepp Blatter to remain in charge of FIFA.

Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone claims Blatter, who is under criminal investigation over corruption allegations, never should've been challenged.

Ecclestone has said that if people allegedly have been corrupted to make things happen in their country, it's good.

He says the reason Blatter deserves support is for getting so many countries into football.

Blatter's 17-year reign at world football's governing body will end in February.
