FIFA's technical director has launched a number of proposed changes for discussion including abolishing football's offside rule.
Former world player of the year Marco van Basten has floated his ideas for the future of football in his vision for the sport.
He said scrapping the offside rule could make the sport more visually appealing and allow more goals.
Van Basten's vision includes going straight to penalties after 90 minutes in drawn cup games, with a 25 metre run up allowed and eight seconds to shoot.
He's also suggesting sin bins, clamping down on time wasting and restricting players to a cap of 60 games per year.
