UPDATED 2.07pm:Â The FBI's been called in to help track down a Kiwi man caught up in bribery allegations.
Former Commonwealth Bank executive Jon Waldron is wanted for questioning over allegedly receiving kickbacks from a US cloud computing company for awarding a contract without putting it out to public tender.
Police say he fled Australia for the United States after he found out about the investigation.
Sydney Morning Herald crime editor Nick Ralston says New South Wales Police have asked the FBI for help.
"Waldron is understood to have flown out only on Saturday, so I think they're still hoping he will make contact with authorities or authorities may be able to track down where he has gone."
One man, Keith Hunter was arrested on Tuesday and has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
