An Australian is reportedly one of 19 people who died at Mount Everest's base camp.
Expedition organiser Temba Tsheri says he's lost four team members in the avalanche - two from Nepal, one from China and the Australian.
Ang Tshering Sherpa, the co-ordinator for the Everest rescue efforts, said some of the other climbers were stuck at Base Camp two because the avalanche had blocked their way.
But he's promising they'll find a way to bring them back.
Some 65 injured people have so far been rescued, with all but three of the dead bodies still at the Everest base camp.
