It seems one issue is way out ahead of any other when it comes to affecting your vote in this election - the economy.
In the latest Herald-ZB Kantar TNS opinion poll 31 percent of respondents said that'll be the main issue determining how they'll vote on Saturday.
Way behind on 15 percent is health, level pegging with housing, with poverty on 11 percent and immigration on eight, education on seven and the environment on six.
National will be happy with the result considering its campaign has centred on the economy, while Labour will be less pleased with its campaign targeting health, housing, poverty and education while New Zealand First's thrust on immigration doesn't seem to have had much cut through.
