Kiwi Dylan Schmidt has overcome a false start to clinch his first individual trampolining world cup medal in Spain.
The Rio Olympian has claimed silver at the event in Spain, sandwiched between 10-time world champion Dong Dong of China and London 2012 silver winner Dmitri Ushakov.
Schmidt says his legs buckled when he went off, but technically he hadn't started his routine.
"It's annoying but I got to go again and finish the routine and ended up doing a pretty nice routine. It was good enough to get the silver medal so I'm absolutely rapt and its a bit surreal at the moment."
Schmidt said it's a big boost with the World Championships in a month in Bulgaria.
