There's no rest for the Black Caps ahead of their final one-day match against the West Indies.
The hosts hold an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series with the final match taking place at Hagley Oval tomorrow.
Black Caps spinner Todd Astle said there's still work to be done.
"We actually have training on Christmas Day, just a short sharp one down at Hagley and then a nice Christmas lunch."
It will add a family touch to the rigorous training, as some of the players are from Christchurch.
Astle said families of the non-Canterbury players are heading to Clearwater.
"A lot of their families are flying in and they've got a lunch, that's nice that they can be together on Christmas day, whereas the guys that are at home will more than likely go do their own thing with their own families."
