All Blacks loose forward Wallace Sititi is set to miss the entire Super Rugby campaign, according to reports.

Sititi, who had a breakout season for the Chiefs in 2024, posted to social media on New Year’s Eve, saying a “tough start to the year” was incoming.

Stuffare reporting World Rugby’s breakthrough player of 2024 sustained a knee injury on last season’s Northern Tour and requires surgery. Sititi played every minute of the last seven tests of the season.

It would be a big blow for the Chiefs who open the season against the Blues on February 15, a rematch of last year’s final.
