UPDATED 10.35pm: National's Todd Muller won Bay of Plenty battle by a long shot.
The seat has been held by National since 1941, but Minister of Health Tony Ryall is leaving after 24 years in parliament.
His replacement Todd Muller won 20,013 votes, Labour's Clare Wilson is on just 5,884.
