John Key's popularity has slipped in a new opinion poll but he remains streets ahead of rival David Cunliffe.
The latest Herald Digipoll gives Mr Key 61.6 percent support in the preferred Prime Minister race - that's a five point fall from the last survey and his lowest score in the last six polls taken.
However Mr Key retains a commanding lead over Labour Leader David Cunliffe who's scored 17.9 percent.
His score is up 3.9 and is his highest rating in the last six polls taken.
The full Herald Digipoll will be in tomorrow's New Zealand Herald.
