The Prime Minister's in New York next week to speak at the UN General Assembly next week - but she'll also be popping up on American small screens.

Jacinda Ardern will soon be in front of a TV audience bigger than the population of New Zealand.

The Prime Minister's booked a number of high-profile media appearances in the States, including taking a seat on Stephen Colbert's couch on the Late Show.

She'll also be showing up on NBC's Today Show and sitting down for a long-form interview with journalist Christiane Amanpour.

It's estimated the shows have a combined audience of about 7 million people.
