The Government's support parties aren't expecting their confidence and supply deals to change along with a change of Prime Minister.
Maori Party Co-leader Te Ururoa Flavell said he can work, and has worked, with all three candidates currently in the running to replace John Key.
And he doesn't see a change of Prime Minister affecting his Party's current arrangements with the National Party.
"I think that the people throughout the National Party respect the relationship we've had - I don't see it deviating off course," he said.
United Future Leader Peter Dunne isn't expecting changes either.
"I don't think so - the agreements are between the parties. They were signed by the individuals, but they're between the parties so I think they endure."
ACT Party Leader David Seymour said a change at the top won't affect current arrangements.
"Look I could work with Bill English very happily, Gerry Brownlee, Steven Joyce, Paula Bennett - really with any of those top five ministers I could work with very well.
As for Judith Collins, Mr Seymour said if she becomes Prime Minister he'll work with her "as best we can".
