It's the Labour-led Government's final week to fulfil its first 100 days promises, with the self-imposed period coming to an end this Saturday.
The promise to announce an inquiry into mental health was met last week, but there are still two major promises still to come.
This includes the detail around a major inquiry of historic abuse of children in state care and the framework that will require all future Governments to set poverty reduction targets.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has got until Saturday to honour her promises, but the week will be filled as two other pieces of legislation pass through parliament.
New Zealand First's Waka jumping bill, agreed on by Labour in last year's coalition talks, is up first.
The bill caused early division amongst government partners last year with the Greens accidentally revealing their distaste for it in a leaked email.
This will be followed by a bill that will allow terminally ill people to use cannabis and allow for standards to be set around the import and manufacture of marijuana. It is expected to pass its first reading.
The Health Minister said last year the legislation would also allow cops to turn a blind eye to growing cannabis for medicinal use.
