World number one Rory McIlroy has a share of the lead after the opening round of the penultimate PGA Tour event in Colorado.

McIlroy's fired a three under 67 to be alongside Americans Gary Woodland and Jordan Spieth at the top of the leaderboard.

The Northern Irishman was poised to hold the outright lead, before bogeying two of his last three holes.

Nine other players are a shot back from the leading group, in a tie for fourth.
