UPDATED 10.16pm: National's Todd Barclay has taken out the Clutha-Southland seat.
The 24-year-old tobacco lobbyist took it out with a 19,686 whopping votes - his closest rival was Labour's Liz Craig who raked in just 6103 votes
He says he's over the moon and is shocked by the margin
"I've taken the campaign pretty seriously over the last five months and I've been full time camp to del the strongest result i possible can."
Clutha-Southland was Bill English's electorate. He held it from 1996 until this election when he went on the list.
