Turnips, kale and swedes are to blame for a Fonterra milk recall.
The diary giant pulled several batches of Anchor blue top bottles in the Lower North Island after customers reported it tasted funny.
Fonterra says the off-flavour was related to Brassica cow feed, made up of vegetables, given to herds when grass levels get low.
The company says despite the funny taste, the milk is safe to drink.
It says concerned customers can return their products to the store they bought them.
