UPDATED AT 9:06AM:

Just one member of the Waikato family who've been battling suspected botulism is still in hospital, and is expected to go home next week.

All three family members fell ill a month ago after eating wild boar curry.

35-year-old Shibu Kochummen and his 62-year-old mother were taken home from Waikato Hospital by a family friend.

Only 33 year-old Subi Babu is still in Waikato hospital.

Family friend Joji Varghese says only Subi Babu is still in Waikato Hospital.

Her husband and his mother were released yesterday.

"In terms of rehabilitation they will continue with physio and will be out of the hospital by next week."

Joji Varghese says the couple's two children are staying with family in India, while their parents recover.
