Three South Island ski fields have joined the exclusive Mountain Collective, making them two of the 12 best ski resorts in the world.
Coronet Peak, the Remarkables and Canterbury's Mt Hutt now join a number of international ski fields, including Aspen and Whistler Blackcomb.
Destination Queenstown CEO Graham Budd said the hard earned recognition puts both them in illustrious international company.
He said it gives international skiers and snowboarders even more motivation to come to New Zealand.
This new membership also gives NZ-SKI Three-Peak season pass holders half price admission into all resorts in the group.
