‘Vehicle into a building’: Three hospitalised after crash on Auckland's North Shore

Three people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a building on Auckland’s North Shore this afternoon.

The crash on Beach Rd in Mairangi Bay was reported to emergency services shortly after 1pm.

Police said the crash “involved a vehicle into a building”.

Early indications suggest three people received injuries, police said.

Hato Hone St John spokesperson said three ambulances, a rapid response unit, and an operations manager responded.

“Two patients are being transported to Auckland City Hospital, one in a moderate condition and one in a serious condition. One additional patient, in a moderate condition, is being transported to North Shore Hospital,” St John said.

Police were still at the scene at 2pm and the Serious Crash Unit had been notified.
