It's not long now until Quentin Tarantino's new film is premiered in Auckland.

The western-style, eighth Tarantino film, the Hateful Eight is being introduced by the man himself.. at Newmarket Event Cinema at 6:30 tonight.

There will be a red... or in this case black... carpet and Kiwi guests like Bic and Boh Runga, David Dallas and Dominic Bowden will be arriving from about 5:30pm.

Zoe Bell, who plays a leading role in the western-style film, will also be there, alongside esteemed Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister
