A UK goods store is keeping Sanitarium off its Christmas card list, as the battle over Weetabix dawdles on.
A Little Bit of Britain and the cereal giant were due to face off in civil court proceedings this afternoon.
Sanitarium have pulled out, and the matter could instead be heading for the High Court.
That's not good news for British expats, with the pallet of Weetabix unlikely to be released from Customs until after Christmas.
Store owner Lissa Wilson said they are in a holding pattern.
"Just waiting to hear back from our barrister about the next steps but still no Weetabix on the shelf at this time".
Wilson said that's bad news for expats craving their Weetabix.
"Obviously our pallet of Weetabix that was first brought in is still detained and until we get a High Court hearing they're going to be detained until then. It's not looking like any time this year"
