A fight which broke out after a crash on Auckland’s Southern Motorway has sent one person to hospital in a moderate condition this afternoon.
The three-vehicle crash blocked two southbound lanes and caused headaches for motorists as traffic backed up about 1.48pm.
Police said a “road rage incident” happened following the crash.
Police took another person into custody and were trying to underrstand the “wider circumstances of what has occured”.
Waka Kotahi NZTA alerted the crash just after the Market Rd off-ramp about 2pm.
