Two Ray White real estate agents have been suspended, while the company looks into their role in the sale of a house in West Auckland.
The property has changed hands four times in just three months, with a total price rise of $150 thousand dollars in that time.
Kelston agent Ronald Hachache and South Auckland agent Ashwin Nand are now being investigated by the firm.
Today's Weekend Herald reports the Real Estate Agents Authority is also looking into what's gone on.
The Authority says agents have an obligation to tell vendors if they are related in any way to a buyer.
Real Estate Institute chief executive Colleen Milne said disclosure rules were clear and Ray White had taken the necessary steps.
"We are confident that there is compliance across the real estate industry as a whole."
