Motorists are being advised to steer clear of Papamoa's Kairua Road for the next fortnight.
It's set to be closed for two weeks from tomorrow morning to allow work on the Tauranga Eastern Project to continue.
A detour via State Highway Two and Welcome Bay Road will be in place while the road remains closed.
