Emergency services have responded to a serious work-related incident in North Canterbury this afternoon.
A person was critically injured during the incident on Chapmans Boundary Road, West Eyreton.
Police confirmed they attended the incident.
“WorkSafe have been notified,” a spokesperson said.
Hato Hone St John was notified at 12.17pm.
It responded by sending a helicopter, two rapid-response vehicles and one ambulance.
“One patient has been airlifted to Christchurch Hospital in a critical condition,” a spokesperson said.
“We have no further information.”
