Pensions are getting a boost this April.
Superannuation and Veteran's Pensions are held at 66 per cent of the average income, which means they're going up by 2.73 per cent this year.
Social Development Minister Anne Tolley said that means a married couple gets almost 16 dollars more per week, while a single person living alone gets just over 10 dollars extra.
The new payments will come into force on the first of April.
