A New Zealand warship is leaving today, ultimately bound for Gallipoli.
The HMNZS Te Kaha is departing Devonport Naval Base in Auckland.
She'll initially spend a month training off the coast of Australia, before heading for Turkish waters for the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli Campaign.
Commanding officer Simon Griffiths says the frigate's crew are honoured to be representing New Zealand at the commemorations.
