NZ Post says delivering mail takes a backseat when it comes to workers safety.
Whangarei postie Wade Brock has been refusing to deliver mail to a Hikurangi address after a dog attack left him needing a tetanus shot last month.
NZ Post Spokesperson Marty Buckley says he agrees with Mr Brock's decision and measures have now been put in place.
Mr Buckley says as of today, a fence has been put up and mail delivery will resume.
