The New Zealander attacked by an ape in an Indonesian jungle is now recovering at home in Auckland.
Binula Wickramarachchi was on a two-day jungle trek through the Gunung Leuser National Park when he was bitten by the ape.
The incident left him with puncture marks on his leg, scratches and deep bruising.
He's been to see his doctor and received extra vaccinations, and says his wounds are healing well.
