A Napier mother is organising a 'Walk in Solidarity' to make the streets of Hawke's Bay safe again.
The protest rally comes as police continue to investigate a spate of attacks on women who have been grabbed by men while they were exercising on Napier Hill, Taradale and Havelock North.
One victim was walking on Burns Road with her young children in a pram, when a man came up behind her and allegedly put his hand down her pants.
One 29-year-old man was arrested on Sunday in relation to the attacks, but the police are searching for more people.
Jenny Keown organised the walk and said the attacks have really shaken many people.
"All the women I've talked to and they all say 'I don't want to go to such and such place anymore with my kids, I feel more afraid, I've been shut in my house'. That's what spurred me to establish this walk."
She said she wants women in Hawke's Bay to feel safe again.
"That's one of the joys of living in Hawke's Bay. We're here because we like getting out with our kids, we want to feel safe."
The Walk in Solidarity is being held on November 25th at 2pm, from Napier's Marine Parade Sound Shell.
