Nehe Milner-Skudder will make his All Black debut as part of a revamped backline for the Rugby Championship decider.
The 24 year old has the chance to stake his claim for the right wing berth with familiar faces close at hand.
He’ll have his Hurricanes team-mate Julian Savea on the other wing and franchise captain Conrad Smith on his inside at centre.
All Blacks assistant coach Ian Foster believes they've given the likes of Milner-Skudder the best platform possible to translate his Super Rugby form onto the international stage.
Foster said they can "make sure that when they go out on the park they know how we want to play, so they can just go and trust their instincts."
"When we bring new guys in we like to give them a little bit of time, make sure they're clear on that before they go out on the park."
Ben Smith gets a rare start at fullback, and Dan Carter and Sonny Bill Williams start at 10 and 12 after staying behind for the South African leg.
There are just two changes up front with Luke Romano and Jerome Kaino coming into the pack, while Nepo Laulala and Sam Cane are the only changes to the bench from Ellis Park.
Meanwhile five All Blacks will get the chance to stretch their legs in the final week of ITM Cup pre-season.
Wellington will be able to call on Jeremy Thrush for their game against Tasman in Blenheim today, while fellow lock James Broadhurst will turn out for Taranaki on Saturday against Hawke's Bay in Napier.
Canterbury's bolstered by Colin Slade, Matt Todd and Patrick Osborne for their game against Counties Manukau in Pukekohe tomorrow.
